The ZTE nubia Z50 Ultra is set to launch on March 7 in China, so its Geekbench dashboard is no big surprise. A handset with model number NX712Jwhich is supposed to be the Z50 Ultra, posted an impressive Geekbench 5 score.

The device marked 5121 points in the multi-core test and 1494 in the single-core test and both results are in line with other Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 devices we’ve tested. The good Geekbench scores also suggest that the device is no longer in testing and is ready to launch. Early engineering samples tend to underperform. Other than the chipset, the Geekbnech listing reveals very little. We know the device will run the latest Android 13 out of the box and it’s only natural that a flagship model would have a version with 12GB of RAM.

Previous rumors and teasers suggest that the handset will also feature an impressive camera setup, an under-display selfie camera and a flat bezel with a dedicated alert slider next to the power button.
