YouTube Now Lets You Tip Your Favorite Creators With Super Thank You Extension

YouTube has now enabled all partners to monetize their content with the Super Thanks Tipping feature which is now fully rolled out. In an official announcement on Tuesday, YouTube mentioned how the expansion of the Super Thanks Tipping feature will now allow creators in 68 regions to earn money from their content. The feature, which originally came to the app in July last year, was limited to a random number of creators. However, it has now rolled out to all eligible YouTube Partner Program creators and can be activated through YouTube Studio.

In a detailed article explaining the monetization process via Super Thanks Tipping, YouTube mentioned that fans can now tip creators from among the four available values ​​between $2 and $50 (approximately Rs. 150 and Rs. 3,800) at different times while watching content. As a bonus, fans will be able to see animated GIFs and receive custom colors to highlight their comments. Creators can also reply to these messages, as with regular comments. As a reminder, the Super Thanks program was first launched in July last year.

YouTube Super Thanks Tipping is one of the many ways the social media platform allows creators to earn revenue from their content. A feature called Super Chat allows the public to pay to have their comments pinned in the chat during a livestream, while another feature, Super Stickers, allows creators to earn money by selling cartoon character stickers. animated to their fans.

In a default setup, all creators earn revenue from ad revenue generated by their videos, which is shared with the platform. Although it’s an unstable source of revenue, features like Super Chat, Super Stickers, and Super Thanks Tipping make it easier for creators to earn money without depending too much on advertisers.

The new Super Thanks feature can be activated with a single click and is available on YouTube Studio for desktop, Android and iOS.
