‘You Gotta Watch the Water That You Drink’ – Evander Holyfield Shares a Piece of Advice for Deontay Wilder

Deontay Wilder had faced a lot of criticism from the boxing world when he accused his long-time trainer Mark Breland of spiking the water during his rematch against Tyson Fury, which ultimately cost him the WBC title. However, unlike many others, legendary boxer Evander Holyfield didn’t ridicule his fellow American boxer’s claims.

As Wilder is no longer with Mark Breland, he is set to face Tyson Fury one last time on July 24 in an epic trilogy for the WBC world heavyweight championship.

Before the gladiators collide, they have split the fight universe into two halves, with several people voicing their opinion. Meanwhile, ‘The Real Deal’ has also joined the ride and has passed a cheeky suggestion to ‘The Bronze Bomber’.

Speaking with Fight Hub TV, Evander Holyfield said, “Wilder, I have never seen him fight like that ever in my entire whole life. You got to know, something got to happen. How many people forget all their skills?”

He added, “You know what you will have to watch your water. You gotta watch the water that you drink, you got to have the right people around you all the time that make sure everything is right.”

Notably, Deontay Wilder looks ready to go against Tyson Fury and is adopting a positive mind frame with his new trainer Malik Scott. For the first time in a long span, Wilder hasn’t been into trash-talking and has chosen silence for the build-up to the fight.

As he vows to speak with action inside the ring, we can possibly see the American elite land an upset.

Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3- Everything about it

After a controversial draw in 2018, and Tyson Fury’s TKO win in 2020, the third fight will put the final nail to the coffin. The 12-round heavyweight thriller will happen at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, USA.

The event will be available live on the PPV. That said, the fight may also determine the road to an undisputed heavyweight championship in the future.

Fury vs Wilder 3 will see Tyson Fury’s WBC strap go on the line. So, the winner of the fight would seemingly be entitled to a unified championship for all four belts.

Unified champion Anthony Joshua holds the other three- WBA, WBO, and IBF belts. Hence, he will and see to see how Fury vs Wilder 3 plays out.

Therefore, the upcoming heavyweight blockbuster would contain sheer importance in the championship ride.

Whom do you see winning the bout? Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury?
