Yoruba actor Olamilekan ‘Gbatami’ Ojo is dead

The Yoruba subset of Nollywood has again lost one of its own.

Actor cum movie producer, Olamilekan Ojo, popularly known as Gbatami is dead.

The TAMVAAS award-winning actor, was reported dead on Thursday morning, November 17 at 7:30am.

According to reports, Olamilekan Ojo had been battling lung cancer for over a year, before it eventually cost him his life.

May his soul rest in peace!!

This year 2022, the Yoruba movie industry has unfortunately experienced loss.

In June, popular veteran actor, Yinka Ogundaisi passed on.

A month before Yinka Ogundaisi’s death, Osmond Gbadebo also lost his life to the cold hands of death, on Monday, May 30th, to mention a few.
