The Redmi Note 12 series opens the European chapter of its global journey today and we have the Redmi Note 12 Pro in the office, so let’s do an unboxing.

It’s a well stocked phone. It has a case, a 67W charger and a USB cable. With the supplied 67W charger, Xiaomi promises to go from 0% to 50% in just 15 minutes, and up to 100% in 46 minutes. We’ll test those numbers in our review.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro starts from €399 (INR 24,999 when it launched in India in January) and you get a well-rounded device for that money. On the front, it has a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a triple camera on the back with a 50MP f/1.9 main shooter, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera has a 16MP sensor.

The 5,000mAh battery should last quite a bit with the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset. You get 6GB, 8GB, and even 12GB RAM options.

Compared to the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, you would miss a higher resolution 200MP main camera and faster 120W charging.
