Xiaomi 13 Lite Appears on Geekbench List Ahead of Global Launch; Specs leaked

The Xiaomi 13 series will be launched in Barcelona on February 26, a day before the start of Mobile World Congress 2023. The company will unveil three models in this series – the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 Lite. While the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro have already been launched in China, the global series is said to have another addition, namely the Xiaomi 13 Lite. Details about the three devices have been making the rounds on the internet. Now the Xiaomi 13 Lite has appeared on a Geekbench listing, suggesting the processor and its performance.

According to a report from Gizmochina, the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Lite has been spotted on the Geekbench certification site with the model number 2210129SG. The listing suggests that the handset will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM. The phone is suggested to come pre-installed with Android 12 bundled with the MIUI 13 skin. Moreover, the listing reveals that the phone scored 793 in single-core tests and 2,938 in multi-core tests.

Although the Geekbench listing only contains this amount of information, the phone was recently spotted on German online retailer CyberPort for a brief period. The listing would have revealed its detailed specifications and prices. Xiaomi 13 Lite is supposed to come in two shades – black and pink.

The other two models – Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro – have already been launched in the Chinese market in December 2022. The global variants of the phone are supposed to have the same features as their Chinese variants. The vanilla variant of the series runs MIUI 14 and features a 6.73-inch 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

The phones have also appeared on a European retail site, suggesting that the Xiaomi 13 will be priced at EUR 999.90 (around Rs. 88,300) for 8GB of RAM and a 256GB storage variant, while the Xiaomi 13 Pro will cost EUR 1,299.90 (around Rs. 1,14,700). Both smartphones are said to be available in missing and white color options.
