Xiaomi 11i, Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge receive MIUI 14 OS update based on Android 13: all the details

Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge are getting the latest MIUI 14 OS update based on Android 13 in India, according to the smartphone company. The update will bring new changelogs, latest firmware, security fixes, and more. MIUI 14 update based on Android 13 comes with 3.6GB size which can be downloaded through MIUI downloader. The Xiaomi 11i series was launched last year in January with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. The update also comes with the January 2023 security patch.

According to details shared by Xiaomiui, MIUI 14 update on Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge in India introduces new UI, super icons on home screen, fast app launch speed, system performance improved and longer battery life. The update brings the latest MIUI 14.0.1.0.TKTINXM firmware and January 2023 security patches.

Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge MIUI 14 update changelog is currently rolling out for India region only. The latest update has a size of 3.6 GB. It can be downloaded through MIUI Downloader. Notably, the latest OS update is first rolling out to users who have signed up for the Mi Pilots program. However, it will be released for a wider audience, if no bugs are found, Xiaomi said.

Moreover, the update also advanced search in settings with new search history and categories features.

Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge were launched in January 2022 with Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 Enhanced edition on top. Both phones feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and sample rate. 360 Hz touch. They are powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
