Manchester City’s 2021/22 Premier League campaign did not get off to a great start.

Despite dominating across lengthy periods, City lost 1-0 to Tottenham on the opening weekend.

Pep Guardiola and co. should, however, have a much easier test this time around.

The Sky Blues are set to play host to Norwich City in a 3 PM kick-off this coming Saturday.

The Canaries kicked off their Premier League return in altogether concerning fashion, losing 3-0 at home to Liverpool last weekend. And a similar drubbing is likely coming their way this week, too.

Ahead of Saturday’s game, both sides would of course release their starting line-ups an hour before kick-off.

And, the Citizens’ XI was pretty interesting, with the likes of Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling left on the bench.

Elsewhere, Kevin De Bruyne, who Pep Guardiola confirmed on Friday had not trained that day, was omitted from the squad.

The Belgian’s absence was not too surprising, but what was surprising was that John Stones did not even make the bench.
