‘White Lotus’ Star Jennifer Coolidge Reacts to Her SNL Parody

Now that the last holidays at the Lotus Blanc ran its course, everyone just wants more Jennifer Coolidge.

On the most recent episode of Saturday Night Live, Chloe Fineman plays the one and only Coolidge in a skit titled Jennifer Coolidge Is Impressed by Christmas Stuff. The parody sees Fineman hilariously weigh in on various vacation items as Coolidge, and she really gets the voice and facial expressions.

“Oh look at that, a big sock full of presents,” Fineman said. “You know, the ultimate stocking stuffer…it’s a foot.”

Fineman’s Coolidge doesn’t find it quite as charming as the bottom.

“Mmm, a big mug of eggnog,” Fineman said. “Rather strange.”

After the show aired, the real Coolidge stepped in with a vacation take — Fineman nailed her impression.

“Wow! Huge thanks to @NBCSNL!! and the exceptionally brilliant impressionist Chloe Fineman with your hilarious impersonation!!” Coolidge wrote in a tweet on Sunday.

Coolidge also congratulated the show’s newest cast members, saying she “tried to be one, but you made it,” before wishing everyone happy holidays.

Besides starring in The White Lotus, Coolidge has appeared in films like Best in Show, Legally Blonde, and American Pie. She won an Emmy for her portrayal of Tanya in the first season of White Lotus.

Saturday’s SNL episode was hosted by Austin Butler and marked the departure of longtime cast member Cecily Strong.
