Said clash will see Tottenham play host to Manchester City in what should be dubbed the ‘Harry Kane derby’.
Kane is of course currently a Spurs player, but Manchester City have been heavily linked with him all summer, with the latest update on Thursday suggesting that the Sky Blues were preparing a new bid for the hitman:

Nuno Espirito Santo on Harry Kane
Ahead of facing the current champions, new Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo would hold his first press conference of the 2021/22 Premier League campaign.
In the presser, the Portuguese would of course be drawn on Harry Kane.
As mentioned above, Kane has been heavily linked with City this summer. But when speaking about the hitman on Friday, Nuno suggested that Kane could potentially be involved at the weekend.
Firstly, the former Wolves boss confirmed that Kane joined the group on Friday:
“Harry joined the group today, he trained, We had a talk, of course it’s a private conversation but everything is ok, he’s preparing himself.”
Then, Nuno added that they still have a session on Saturday to decide if Kane will be involved against City, seemingly not ruling out the possibility he could feature:
“Still have session tomorrow to decide. We have to think and have day tomorrow to make decision.”
