West Ham’s strong start to the season
West Ham and David Moyes have proved that their form at the end of last season was no flash in the pan, taking eight points from their opening 4 games. This included an impressive 4-1 over Leicester City, in which Michail Antonio became the club’s all-time record Premier League scorer.

They have also impressed in Europe, getting a strong 2-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb in their first Europa League group stage game thanks in part to a brilliant solo effort from Declan Rice.

Manchester calling
Sunday represents the Hammers’ biggest test of the season to date, however, as they host Manchester United. While the Red Devils were awful in their last game, falling to a 2-1 defeat to Young Boys. In the Premier League, however, they have impressed, and sit top of the table after four games.

David Moyes was already without star striker Antonio, who was sent off against Southampton last weekend, but may yet be further hamstrung ahead of the encounter with his former side.
This comes in the form of a potential injury to Algerian maestro Said Benrahma, with Moyes revealing that:
“Said Benrahma got a knock on his knee when he came on against Dinamo Zagreb”
Benrahma has scored twice and provided 2 assists in four Premier League games so far this campaign, and should he not be available, his creativity will be sorely missed.
