Wolves vs West Ham
West Ham will face a trip to Wolves on Saturday at 3 pm UK time.
The Hammers head into the weekend’s action on a fine run of form which has so far seen them win seven, draw two and lose two in the league.
West Ham’s latest victory, meanwhile, saw them hand Liverpool their first loss of the campaign in all competitions. As a result, David Moyes and co. are now just three points off top spot in the Premier League.
So, West Ham are no doubt full of confidence heading into Saturday’s game even though Wolves have improved a fair bit in recent weeks.
David Moyes on Ogbonna & Jesse Lingard
During his pre-Wolves press conference, David Moyes would provide an update on Angelo Ogbonna, who suffered a knee injury during the win over Liverpool:
Unfortunately my knee forces me to take a break and return asap to fight with you.
Of course I am devastated I can’t continue our battle from the field, but, as a fighter, I’ll be back and till my return I’ll be supporting the team in this truly special year.

The Italian’s update on his injury did not sound too great at the time and now, Moyes has confirmed Ogbonna is out for the season:

Elsewhere, Moyes would be quizzed on Jesse Lingard, who enjoyed a prolific spell on loan at the London Stadium during the second half of last season but has since struggled for minutes after returning to Manchester United:
“We really enjoyed having Jesse, he made a great contribution. We’ve kicked on again. Jesse is a Man United player and it’s for them to decide.”
