Milenkovic to sign new contract with La Viola
However, both sides have since been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Serbian centre back Milenkovic, with transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano now reporting that the defender is set to discuss a potential contract extension in Florence.

No chance for Pau Torres deal, no talks with Villarreal and never been close – he wants Champions League football. 🇪🇸

Were he to stay put, he would represent another dead end for both clubs, adding to the rejections that Tottenham have already suffered for Pau Torres and Jules Kounde this window.
With time running out before the August 31st deadline, will either club push hard enough to make the Serb reconsider his position and make the move to the Premier League, or do they have another trick up their sleeves?
