Weekly poll results: Positive reviews and a good price can help Huawei’s Mate X3 and P60 Pro

Not having access to Google Play Services or new 5G networks isn’t ideal, but some are willing to live with it. A high price, however, could be a deciding factor. We’re a month away from knowing the price Huawei has in mind for its new Mate X3 and P60 Pro that will be crucial to their success.

Last week’s poll shows that there are a large number of people who haven’t bought into the idea of ​​foldables yet. That aside, most people wait to see Huawei Mate X3 reviews and price before making a decision.

Almost as many people (the difference is a fraction of a percentage point) have already decided, no Google means “no, thanks”. Unfortunately, that’s not something Huawei has control over or something that’s likely to change. For now, the company is focused on growing its alternative store, the App Gallery.

It’s worth mentioning that there are still quite a few people who will seriously consider getting a Mate X3, even with all these limitations and a price that might be steep (as is the norm for foldables).

Those who don’t like foldables can take a look at the Huawei P60 Pro. However, this poll was almost evenly split between the four options. 1 in 4 people just don’t want a P60 Pro and that’s it (some have expressed interest in the P60 Art instead, but that’s unlikely to be available globally). Another quarter of voices lamented the lack of Google services.

The remaining half of voters are interested – some are already saving money, others are waiting for opinions. Once upon a time Huawei topped the camera charts with its latest flagship, can the P60 Pro do the same? If so, there are many people who value camera quality above all else.

There were a few complaints about the curved screen and its non-standard resolution. Others wondered when Huawei phones outside of China would switch to HarmonyOS instead of dragging things along with Android and EMUI.
