Weekly poll results: Oppo Find X6 and Find X6 Pro receive fan approval

Last week’s poll shows that Oppo’s Find X6 series could sell well in the global market, if indeed Oppo did sell them (its future in Europe after 2023 seems uncertain). Both models received strong support, despite their differences.
Or maybe because of their similarities instead – the cheaper Oppo Find X6 uses the exact same periscope module as the Pro. While the rest of its hardware isn’t quite as impressive as the Pro, the vanilla model is also 25 per cent cheaper than its sibling, so it’s an enticing option for those who can’t handle the full price of the Pro.
The Oppo Find X6 Pro enters the 1″ arena with Hasselblad on the back. We’re working on a detailed review, so we’ll be sharing our camera test results soon.
It’s not the first phone with a 1″ sensor. In fact, the Sony IMX989 is quickly gaining tracktion. Where Oppo tries to stand out is with the “three main cameras” approach which gives a equal love to the wide, ultra-wide and tele modules.
As expected, the price of the Find X6 Pro raises some concerns. We don’t know how much it might cost outside of China, but this and the rest of the 1″ band are as expensive as non-folding phones. Less worried about the cost of the vanilla Find X6, of course. , which is part of its appeal.
We will soon complete our review of the X6 Pro. After that, there won’t be much to do but wait and see if Oppo expands the availability of the Find X6 series to other markets.
