Week 15 in review: LG changes name, Xiaomi 13 Ultra is coming
Yet another week later, here are the highlights. LG has announced a new brand identity and new look, dubbed LG Active Red. The company is betting on a more “dynamic and youthful” look. It will unfortunately continue not to make new phones.
It’s been a big week for Xiaomi 13 Ultra teasers. The phone will go official on April 18 and will bring four rear cameras – the 1-inch IMX989 and three IMX858 (reportedly a 1/2.4-inch sensor) for 3x, 5x and ultra-wide cameras. We’ve also seen the Ultra in press renders, with a striking design featuring a centered camera lens-style module and a contoured leather rear.
Finally, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra would start at CNY6,299 ($916, converted) for the 8/256GB model, and top out at CNY7,499 ($1,090, converted) for the 16/512GB model.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy F54 is coming soon with a 6,000mAh battery and 25W charging. With certifications in place and support pages already in place, the Galaxy F54 should be about to launch.

LG is opting for a more “dynamic and youthful” look in hopes of reinventing its brand identity.
Expect a slight price increase over last year’s Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
Samsung.com already has support pages in three countries for the new variant.
