“We Were Removed From A Project For Being Nigerian” – RMD’s Daughter, Nichole Laments

Onome Nichole, the daughter of legendary actor, RMD has disclosed how she and her team were taken off a project in Africa because they declared their nationality as Nigerians.

She made this statement on the microblogging platform while replying to a male tweep, Osaretin Victor who seems to have encountered the same experience. Osaretin wrote;

A friend was going to recommend me for a consulting role in Eswatini but because I am Nigerian it didn’t fly. These are issues people quietly keep in the dark but don’t talk about in the open. Nigerians are not loved across Africa. They’re feared and maybe respected but not loved.

“We were removed from a project after kickoff in Africa’s “best” country for being Nigerian.” She didn’t disclose the name of the supposed ‘best country’.

In other news, Alex Ekubo, a popular Nollywood actor, has resorted to social media to highlight why having money first is a requirement.

The actor remarked that while having money does not always ensure happiness, not having it does not bring happiness either.

Alex emphasized that money is valuable because it allows people to at least purchase independence, and once they have freedom, they can utilize that time to discover out what makes them happy.

The popular actor went on to argue that people should ignore motivational speakers who claim that money can’t buy happiness; instead, people should try to generate money legitimately, according to him.

He wrote;

Money doesn’t buy happiness, but neither does being broke. Money buys freedom, freedom gives you the time to figure out what makes you happy.
