‘We have an agreement with both’: Kylian Mbappe’s mother provides update on future
The mother of French superstar Kylian Mbappe has, on Friday, provided a frankly remarkable insight into her son’s future.
Attacking sensation Mbappe, of course, has long been expected to call time on his stint with Paris Saint-Germain this summer, to link up with La Liga champions Real Madrid as part of a big-money free agent agreement.
Such a move would see the Frenchman join forces with fellow countryman Karim Benzema, and Blancos wing wizard Vinicius Junior, to form potentially the most lethal front-three in world football.
Recent weeks, however, have seen reports pointing towards a potential stay in Paris pushed by more than one outlet in the media, culminating in widespread confusion surrounding just where Mbappe is most likely to be plying his trade next season.
Speaking on Friday, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of her son’s future was put to the hitman’s mother.
And, remarkably, Fayza Mbappe went on to reveal that the 23-year-old has reached an agreement on ‘almost identical’ contract terms with ‘both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain’, leaving the player, and he alone, with a career-defining decision to make.

Metz up next
Should Mbappe ultimately go on to seal a move to Spain next month, then his final outing in PSG’s colours is set to be played out on Saturday night.
This comes with Mauricio Pochettino’s troops, having long wrapped up the Ligue 1 title, primed to welcome Metz to the Parc des Princes, for their 38th and final fixture of the French top-flight campaign.
