Chelsea were looking to get back to winning ways after a wasteful 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday, but were lucky not to be behind early against Watford.

Edouard Mendy and Trevoh Chalobah both came to a much-changed Blues side, as Joao Pedro had two glorious chances.
However, the game quickly took a far more serious turn.
Game halted for medical emergency in the crowd
In a repeat of what happened between Tottenham and Newcastle, the Premier League game between the pair has been suspended temporarily due to an issue in the crowd.
As Adam Masina pulled up with an injury off the pitch, players were frantically gesturing for another injury, this time among the supporters.
Fans in the Graham Taylor Stand were waving frantically for someone to come over. the players noticed too. there are lots of people with yellow bibs attending to the individual now. The players have come off the pitch.

Amazon Sport reported that a member of the public suffered a heart attack in the opening minutes, and was receiving CPR from both sets of medical staff, as well as emergency services on the scene.
