WATCH: Sebastian Vettel’s Snappy F1 Radio Hints at Disappointment With Aston Martin’s Strategy
Sebastian Vettel didn’t have the weekend he wanted at the Styrian Grand Prix, as he finished in disappointing twelfth place. Furthermore, he shared his frustration on the team radio, complaining about the tires.
However, the German is looking forward to the next race at the same venue in a week’s time and hopes to bag some points for the Silverstone-based team.
Sebastian Vettel isn’t happy how he performed at the Styrian GP
The four-time world champion finished the race in twelfth place with a lap down. His race engineer informed him about the standings, and with a disappointed voice, Vettel said, ” Yeah I saw it read it. Well, the tires were absolutely dead at the end.”
“There’s nothing…. nothing left,” Vettel explained.
The German has had his fair share of heartful radio messages, such as coming fifth in Monaco or scoring his first podium for the team at the Azerbaijan GP. However, this time it was different, as he failed to make an impact in Austria. But Vettel hopes to turn things around when they go racing in a week’s time at the same venue.

How did the German do in Austria?
It was a poor weekend for Vettel, as he only managed to qualify in fourteenth place, and finished the race in twelfth place, resulting in scoring zero points from the weekend.
However, Vettel is optimistic and is looking forward to the second round of the Red Bull Ring in a week’s time. He will be hoping to bounce back and achieve a better result compared to this weekend.
