Vivo Y100 officially announced with a color changing rear panel: see here

Vivo Y100 is expected to debut in India later this month. The essential features of the phone and hardware information have already been discussed in a report. Moreover, the leak revealed the anticipated price range of the smartphone in India. The smartphone is rumored to feature a MediaTek Dimensity SoC, running the most recent version of Android 13. The device could feature a thin and light body with a rear panel that can change color. The company has now officially teased some of the smartphone specs.

Long live tweeted a teaser of the Vivo Y100 where the phone’s back panel design is revealed. We can see a triple rear camera setup with an LED flash housed in two circular units on the top left side. The teaser also reveals that Vivo’s next smartphone will come in at least two color-changing variants – Black and Gold.

The Vivo Y100 will likely be the first Vivo phone to come in two color-changing variants. While the Vivo V23 Pro and Vivo V25 Pro both featured color-changing screens, they only came in one color option.

As previously reported, Vivo’s Y100 will only come in one configuration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and it may cost around Rs. 27,000 in India. The Vivo Y100’s 6-inch HDR10+ AMOLED display, which supports dual SIMs and 5G, is likely to have a 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio and could run Android 13. The phone is said to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 octa-core SoC and an ARM Mali-G68 MP4 GPU.

The Vivo Y100 camera unit is likely to get a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary camera, and a 2-megapixel tertiary lens. The 50-megapixel front camera is expected to be located in a punch-hole slot at the top of the front screen.
