vivo X Flip undergoes Google Play certification confirming its name

vivo’s upcoming first entry into the flip-style foldable space has been making headlines a lot lately, and today, thanks to its Google Play certification, the name has been confirmed. Surprising absolutely no one, the phone will be called vivo X Flip.
This makes perfect sense in vivo naming logic, since X Fold is its other foldable line, and the X Flip will compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip4 and Oppo’s Find N2 Flip. Seems like if you want to escape the word “flip” in the name of such devices, you’ll have to go with Motorola, because everyone else is pretty flipgasp.
Anyway, the vivo X Flip was recently spotted in the online Geekbench database rocking the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM. A recent 3C certification revealed that it will support 44W fast charging.
The phone was previously rumored to come with a 6.8-inch FHD+ 120Hz internal display, 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide, and a 4,400mAh battery. It will apparently become official in China at some point in April.
