VIDEO: Photojournalist narrates how he fled to Ghana after being threatened over Lekki shooting photos
A photojournalist, Eti-Inyene Godwin, has narrated how he fled the country to Accra, Ghana after he was being threatened over Lekki Tollgate shooting photos of Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
Speaking with The PUNCH, Eti-Inyene also shared how his bank account was frozen after his return to the country, and his invitation by Department of State Services, DSS.
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that soldiers stormed the Lekki toll plaza to disperse #EndSARS protesters during the October 20, 2020 nationwide demonstration against extrajudicial killings and police brutality by operatives of the now-defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigeria Police Force, SARS.
