Video: Jude Bellingham takes Declan Rice inspiration with beer-drinking antics vs Leverkusen
A brilliant piece of footage centering on Borussia Dortmund talent Jude Bellingham has come to the fore online, on the back of the club’s thriller versus Bayer Leverkusen this afternoon.
Haaland at the double
BVB were back in action a short time ago.
Marco Rose’s men got their Bundesliga campaign back underway following the international break, with a trip to the BayArena.
And what an afternoon it proved in North Rhine-Westphalia.
A remarkable 90 minutes ultimately saw the visitors emerge on the right side of a 7-goal thriller, to climb into 3rd in the German top-flight table.
Erling Haaland inevitably proved the star of the show, following up his scintillating form on the international stage with another brace on Saturday, including the deciding goal 15 minutes from time.

Also on target for Dortmund were Julian Brandt and Raphael Guerreiro, while Florian Wirtz, Patrik Schick and Moussa Diaby notched in a losing effort for hosts Leverkusen.
Bellingham’s brilliant moment
As outlined above, though, whilst it was that man Haaland who stole the headlines amid the action at the BayArena, it is in fact another of BVB’s stars who has since gone viral across social media on the back of the action coming to a close.
The player in question? Jude Bellingham.
Midfielder Bellingham, like Haaland, was also thoroughly impressive in his final international outing of the break, lighting up England’s ranks in the middle of the park en route to a 4-0 win over Andorra.
And, this afternoon, the 18-year-old showed off his skills with his hands, too.
Amid the celebrations of Haaland’s winner, Bellingham was spotted by a fan catching a full cup of beer thrown from the crowd.
The former Birmingham maestro, from here, jokingly took a swig from the cup, in scenes reminiscent of those during England’s recent meeting with Hungary, which saw Declan Rice do similar:

What a catch! 🍺😅
