VIDEO: How Davido’s mom, Veronica died of substance abuse – Kemi Olunloyo alleges, revisits clash with singer

Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo rolls out a damning allegation as regards what caused the death of singer Davido’s mother, Veronica Adeleke.

The 58-year-old spoke about the crooner’s late mom in a video she shared via her Tiktok page in which she recalled her clash with Davido in 2018.

Kemi Olunloyo avowed that she made a report in 2018 about Davido and Chioma Rowland having a squabble in their relationship which resulted in Davido locking Chioma out of her Instagram page.

The journalist revealed that in response, Davido mocked her severely by hurling several vulgar words at her.

She affirmed that Davido described her as a drug addict and a mad woman.

Fuming over this, Kemi alleged that Davido’s mother, Veronica Adeleke died of drug overdose and eventually ended her life. She further stated that Davido may not even know the real cause of his mother’s death as he was just a kid and was probably told she was poisoned.

Kemi Olunloyo added that she babysat Davido as a kid, took care of him when his mother was away and she was really hurt by the awful things he said about her.
