Video: Harvey Elliott nets stunning individual goal on Liverpool return
Footage of Liverpool starlet Harvey Elliott finding the net in sumptuous fashion for the club has come to the fore on Sunday.
For those not aware, midfielder Elliott marked his return to action in a behind-closed-doors friendly 24 hours ago.
The Reds faced off against Welsh National League outfit Wrexham, with Elliott, taking to the pitch for the first time since dislocating his ankle all the way back in September, having wasted little time in providing a reminder of his remarkable talents.
Across a 60-minute outing, the 18-year-old bagged both a goal and an assist, amid a stellar all-round display.
And, as alluded to above, footage of Elliott’s comeback goal has since begun to turn heads across social media on Sunday.
This comes with the former Fulham talent having latched onto a loose pass close to the centre circle, before dancing beyond not one, but two Wrexham defenders, and picking out the far corner courtesy of a pinpoint left-footed strike from the edge of the area:

Diaz secured
Elliott’s return to not only action, but form, too, of course comes amid a stellar 24 hours all-round on the red half of Merseyside.
This comes with Jurgen Klopp and co. having also clinched the club’s first addition of the January transfer window.
In something of a coup, Liverpool swooped decisively to lure FC Porto wide-man Luis Diaz to Anfield, beating out competition from Premier League rivals Tottenham in the process.
The move was made official earlier today, ‘subject to the successful granting of a work permit and international clearance’:
