Using People’s Life For Politics – Reactions Wives of Soldiers Killed During Attack On Kebbi Deputy Governor’s Convoy Stage Protest
On Thursday, March 10, the women of the Nigerian soldiers murdered lately in Kebbi state invaded the mansion of 223 Commanding Officer to protest their husbands’ deaths at the hands of suspected bandits in Kany Village, Kebbi State.
When suspected bandits raided Kanya village on Tuesday, March 8, and engaged the military in a ferocious combat that resulted in the deaths of 18 soldiers, the majority of the protesting women lost their husbands. The commanding officer was in the company of Samaila Yombe, the state deputy governor, who’s on a working visit to the area.

The protesting ladies, dressed in black and holding sticks, were videotaped yelling “whatever will happen, let it happen,” and “we are also willing to die” in a viral video (in Hausa).
In the footage, a handful of the women can also be seen burning tyres in front of the commanding officer’s house.
