Twitter will soon get an ad-free subscription

One of the first things Elon Musk did after taking over the reins of Twitter was revamp the badging system and introduce the Twitter Blue subscription at $8 a month (well, $11 a month on iOS and Android due to App Store fees). However, the current version of Blue only cuts ads in half. Musk tweeted that there will be a more expensive subscription that won’t show any ads.
How much will it cost? Unclear at this time, but the CEO is unhappy with how ads currently work. He says they are “too frequent” and “too big”. Twitter will address both issues in the coming weeks.

There are other plans to improve the Twitter experience. For example, Musk says that currently most users are missing out on “amazing tweets” from people in other countries. The language barrier will be overcome by translate and recommend top tweets from other regions (presumably that means translated to English, Musk didn’t go into detail).
Other upcoming improvements include remembering whether you selected the For You tab or the Forward tab and making it easier to bookmark tweets.
