Trio of Man United stars, including Cristiano Ronaldo, slated after Norwich win
Manchester United’s supporters have taken to social media in numbers on Saturday evening, to single a trio of the club’s stars out for heavy criticism.
CR7 decides it
The Red Devils, of course, returned to action a short time ago.
In the 3rd fixture of the Ralf Rangnick era, buoyed by a timely upturn in form of late, United made the trip to Carrow Road, for a Premier League meeting with Norwich City.
Rangnick and co. headed into proceedings aware that a 3-point haul would guide them clear of both Arsenal and Tottenham in the English top-flight, to join West Ham in 4th-place.
And, ultimately, this is what the visitors managed.
A solitary goal, netted by Cristiano Ronaldo from the penalty spot fifteen minutes from time, proved enough to guide United to a hard-fought triumph, over an increasingly resilient Norwich outfit.
A thumping penalty from Ronaldo
Was it the correct decision?

Rashford amongst those slated
As alluded to above, though, whilst, in the end, their side got the job done in East Anglia, those of a Manchester United persuasion appear far from satisfied on Saturday evening.
In truth, the Red Devils were lucky to come away from proceedings with all three points, with only the heroics of David de Gea having prevented what would have been a deserved Norwich equaliser late in the action.
And, though none of Ralf Rangnick’s squad (de Gea aside) exactly covered themselves in glory over the course of the 90 minutes, it is three players in particular who have been singled out for the vast majority of the criticism post-match.
The stars in question? Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and match-winner Cristiano Ronaldo:
Bruno and Ronaldo and Rashford have been soooo so poor it’s crazy.

I can’t stress it enough..Bruno was totally shit today.
Rashford and Ronaldo off as well.
I’m disappointed with Ragnick that he kept them on full 90.#mufc #mulive #NORMUN

Bruno and Rashford needs some time on the bench. Once there’s no Goal in a Man U match, Ronaldo is always shitty…..he always finds it hard to complete 5 passes in a match

3 worst players tonight,
rashford bruno and ronaldo— afiq (@mmdafiq) December 11, 2021
Ronaldo and rashford was genuinely so bad together, looked like 2 braincells trying to function, bruno was bad too, they should feel lucky we didn’t draw or worse, lose.

The less I say about Bruno (), Rashford (), and Ronaldo () the better.

Now can every fucker admit that after that performance it wasn’t just Ole that was the problem. Bruno, rashford, ronaldo all had absolute stinkers today. Lucky to get the 3 points.
