Transfer expert provides update on Arsenal’s pursuit of Dejan Kulusevski
Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has provided an update on Arsenal’s reported pursuit of Dejan Kulusevski.
Who is Dejan Kulusevski?
Juventus would sign Dejan Kulusevski from fellow Serie A side Atalanta in January of 2020.
The Turin-based outfit are believed to have paid around £31.5m for the winger.
Kulusevski was then loaned to Parma for the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign, before being handed a chance to impress at Juve from 2020/21.
The Swedish international endured a mixed first season in Turin, which saw him score seven and assist seven in 47 outings across all competitions.
And the 21-year-old has since struggled for regular action across the 2021/22 season thus far. He has featured in all of the Bianconeri’s league games barring two.
But he has largely been used as a substitute and completed 90 minutes on just one occasion in the Serie A during 2021/22 so far.
Kulusevski is a right-winger by trade, but is very versatile and can play anywhere across the front line.
Arsenal eyeing Kulusevski
Arsenal would be linked with a move for the Swede earlier in November.
Now, as mentioned above, transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has recently provided an update on Arsenal’s pursuit of the wide-man.
And, according to Di Marzio, Arsenal have made first contact with Kulusevski’s agent:
“Arsenal want him. They had the first contact with his agents. Juventus bought him for €35m + bonuses, so it depends on how much Arsenal want to invest on this player. I know the first contact has been made.”
