Tottenham offered Barcelona star ahead of transfer deadline day
Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign Ousmane Dembele in the dying days of the January transfer window as they look to provide Antonio Conte upgrades to the current Tottenham squad.
As per Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail, the north London outfit have been offered the chance to add the talented Frenchman to their ranks, with Barcelona previously having claimed he must leave by January 31st before his contract runs out in June.

The report claims:
‘Tottenham have effectively been offered Dembele, who can leave the Nou Camp this month.
Sources have rated a move to Spurs as doubtful given the expenses attached – but as it stands it’s not being completely ruled out.
Barca want in the region of £16million in a transfer fee for the forward – but it is the player’s £8million a season salary that would cause the likely sticking point.’
This would add to the business already ongoing at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, with Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski both expected to arrive in the coming hours for a hefty outlay of around 70 million euros (58 million pounds).

Should they add Dembele too, it would take their expenditure in the transfer window to over 70 million pounds, which would prove a hefty investment and would signal strong backing of Conte, who had previously bemoaned the lack of options available to him.
Quite where the 24 year old Frenchman would fit in is another matter, but should Spurs be able to keep him fit, they could have another world-class option on their hands to go alongside Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son.
