As we edge close towards the January transfer window slamming shut, yet more players are being linked with Tottenham.
Already on Sunday, 101 have covered reports that suggest Spurs are interested in signing Juventus duo Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur and that the Lilywhites have also been offered the chance to sign Barcelona winger, Ousmane Dembele.
Now, another two players have been linked with Tottenham via the Mirror.
They claim that Tottenham are still considering deadline-day moves for midfielder Yves Bissouma and right-back Djed Spence.
On Bissouma, there is a belief that Brighton will be open to do business at the right price with the Mali international now into the final 18 months of his contract, whilst Spurs are making space in their midfield by loaning Tanguy Ndombele to PSG.
Tottenham are also said to be open to offers for Dele Alli.
Tottenham leaving it too late?
The Mirror also suggest that there have been fears among Spurs fans that Conte was growing frustrated with the lack of business being done by Tottenham.
And with the window now set to slam shut on Monday and Tottenham yet to do any business, could they be correct?
It is fairly obvious that Tottenham have a number of gaps in their squad that needed to be filled.
Right-back, up front, centre-back; all of these positions looked like obvious areas that needed to be improved upon before the January window even opened, yet we have seen no business done so far.
Tottenham’s recruitment over the last few years has been much more miss than hit, and it appears not much has changed this month either.
It will be interesting to see how Antonio Conte reacts if Tottenham do not get in any players this month.
