Tottenham close to agreement for Emerson
Tottenham appear to be eyeing reinforcements at right-back before the window shuts.
The Telegraph would publish a report over the weekend which suggested that Spurs were looking to sign Barcelona right-back Emerson Royal:

However, it then emerged on Sunday that Barca had rejected Spurs’ bid for the defender.
Now though, Spanish journalist Gerard Romero is reporting on Monday that the Lilywhites will present a new offer today.
It was not mentioned by Romero what fee Spurs will offer for the Brazilian.

However, the above update was followed by Fabrizio Romano reporting that Spurs and Barca are now close to an agreement for Emerson, with a fee of around €30m being touted

Interest in West McKennie ‘concrete’
Tottenham would be linked with Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie last week.
However, it was suggested that Spurs only wanted to take the American on loan, something Juve were not interested in:

However, reports stemming from Italy on Monday state that Spurs are continuing to push to sign the midfielder.
Sport Witness, citing Gazzetta Dello Sport and Corriere Dello Sport, claim Tottenham are showing ‘concrete’ interest in McKennie, but need to convince the Italians into a loan deal.
