
Top Gun: Maverick Box Office Soars To $1.403 Billion, Now 12th Biggest Movie Ever

Top Gun: Maverick became the 12th highest-grossing film of all time, after a weekend of $14.55 million (around Rs. 120 crore) at the global box office saw its global total climb to 1.403 billion dollars (about Rs. 11,200 crore).
It currently sits between Frozen II ($1.45 billion, roughly Rs.11,600 crore) and Avengers: Age of Ultron ($1.402 billion, roughly Rs.11,200 crore).
Out of its total of $1.403 billion (about Rs. 11,200 crore), Top Gun: Maverick has collected more than $683.3 million (about Rs. 5,500 crore) in the United States and Canada, the 720 million of remaining dollars (about Rs. 5,750 crore) from the rest of the world.
And that’s without playing in China or Russia, which are two major film markets.
Outside of the US and Canada, the highest-earning territories for Top Gun: Maverick include the UK ($95 million, around Rs. 750 crore), Japan ($82 million, around Rs. 650 crore), Korea ($62 million, approx.
