As we reach mid-January, we have a rather unusual leader. Not that Samsung’s Galaxy A5x series isn’t used to topping our trending chart – no other series has a more regular presence there, but it’s unusual for them to do so before they have reaches the shelves.

Well, the Galaxy A54 changes that, edging out the Redmi Note 12 Pro for the win. Another rumored phone has garnered enough attention to complete the podium, although the Galaxy S23 Ultra is the kind of high-end phone that should get people talking ahead of its launch.

The current Galaxy S22 Ultra ranks fourth, ahead of the OnePlus 11 and former silver medalist Redmi Note 12.

Two more Samsung phones follow with the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A14, while the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max fell to ninth place this week.

Last place goes to the upcoming Galaxy A34, confirming that people are really optimistic about Samsung’s 2023 lineup. Let’s see if the Korean company can live up to its hopes and if these three rumored phones will become permanent fixtures on the trending chart once they go on sale.
