Top 10 Most Popular Reviews of 2022: Q4

So there we are – having recapped the most popular reviews from the first three quarters, it’s time to focus on the last three months of the outgoing year. It’s just one of the ways we can take a look back and assess the current state of the mobile market and its most important aspect – what you, the reader, love.

We’re starting with the latest and greatest pair of Pixel 7 phones from Google. After the Pixel 6a caused a stir in Q3, the new Pixels dropped at the very start of Q4 and caught a lot of eyeballs. They bring a clean AOSP experience packed with exclusive software features and an amazing computer camera experience. A killer combo for many.

Xiaomi decided to refresh its flagship lineup with the 12T and 12T Pro in early October. Both are well-positioned and competitive devices with similar specs, though Xiaomi has gone with Qualcomm for the Pro and MediaTek for the vanilla. Both phones naturally proved very popular in our Q4 review section.

Realme released a few device announcements in early November. Among the new generation Realme 10, you seemed to like the Realme 10 Pro+ model the most and we can definitely understand why. With a very competitive price, the Pro+ brings things like stereo speakers, a large 120Hz 10-bit HDR10+ curved OLED panel, a capable Dimensity 1080 chipset, and great battery life to the table. The vanilla Realme 10 also made the top 10 with its 90Hz OLED panel and 50MP main camera.

Huawei discontinued its latest flagship Mate 50 line in early September, but it took the lone member of the series a while to escape China. We were able to test the Mate 50 Pro, and you also found it very interesting.

Speaking of slightly lagging devices, the iPhone 14 Plus launched in sales a bit later than its siblings, which is why we see it in the top 10 reviews in Q4 rather than Q3 at the time. alongside the rest of the series.

Foldables tend to do well in our review section, and the Motorola Razr 2022 is no exception. It’s a phone that took hinge design to a new level and delivered well in other areas, but not necessarily price-wise.

And last, but not least, the Tecno Phantom X2 Pro made it into the top ten. While not a brand you see too often on our site due to its limited Western presence, Tecno is huge and easily in the top 10 globally. The Phantom X2 Pro represents a bold step into the company’s flagship territory. A complete with a unique portrait telephoto lens on the back.
