‘This man isn’t serious’: Manchester United fans mock Solskjaer following Tyson Fury analogy
Man United smashed by Liverpool
Manchester United would be smashed 5-0 by Liverpool last Sunday, in what was one of the club’s most embarrassing defeats in their storied history.
The game was over at the break after Liverpool netted four to set an unwanted record for Manchester United:

During the game, Manchester United fans would call for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be sacked.
This was not at all surprising given that Man United are already eight points behind league leaders Chelsea after just nine games, are out of the League Cup, lost to Young Boys in the Champions League and struggled to beat a weakened Atalanta side last week.
Manchester United fans hit out at Solskjaer
Manchester United are now set to face off with Tottenham this weekend.
Ahead of the game, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would speak to the press on Friday.
When doing so, Solskjaer would discuss the Liverpool defeat. And, when speaking to the media, used a Tyson Fury analogy to suggest that Man United tried to react too quickly and sort the issue after conceding early vs Liverpool:
“You see Tyson Fury when he gets knocked down a couple of times, it’s remarkable how calm and composed he is when he’s on the floor, counts to six, seven, eight, he gets up and gets ready, ready to go again. Maybe we got up too early and tried to sort it.”
It is fair to say, however, that these comments have not gone down too well with the Man United faithful, who let their feelings on Solskjaer’s comments be known:
Shows a man very very under pressure
