Thembsie thanked the hospital staff for saving her life, she said they worked hard to keep her alive.

“I would like to thank the Clinton hospital staff because they worked really hard for me to still be alive today. Covid-19 almost took my life, I was in the hospital for five full weeks, sick, fighting for my life while they worked to keep me alive,

“The song that kept me alive I don’t know whether I was singing it or speaking but it’s is the song by Joyous Celebration titled ‘Ndenzel’ Uncedo’ I was saying that, asking God not to live me, “the darkness is here please don’t leave me,” she said.

Thembsie said she is grateful to be at home, however, she has not fully recovered as her other hand does not work properly.

“I’m very grateful that I am still alive, breathing, and Covid free. But I’m not fully recovered yet because my hand is still not working properly.”
