The type of player Tottenham will target next revealed after club ‘agree deal’ for Cristian Romero
An insight in Tottenham’s plans for the remainder of the 2021 summer transfer window has been provided on Wednesday.
Tottenham’s 2021 summer window
Tottenham have been fairly active in the transfer market so far this summer.
At the time of writing, Tottenham have already signed left-winger Bryan Gil from Sevilla in a deal which saw Erik Lamela head in the other direction.
Spurs have also been in the market for another goalkeeper, landing Pierluigi Gollini on loan from Serie A outfit Atalanta. That deal is believed to contain an option to make the move permanent next summer.
Elsewhere, on the incomings front, though not officially confirmed by Tottenham yet, a deal for Atalanta central defender Cristian Romero does look to be all but wrapped up:

…and Demiral joins Atalanta from Juventus on loan [€3m] with buy option [€28m]. 🇹🇷

Who will Tottenham target next?
But with the summer window still open until the end of August, it looks as though the Lilywhites are not done on the transfer front.
And as mentioned above, the Evening Standard have, on Wednesday, provided some insight into the type of player the north London outfit will look to target next.
The ES report that, after agreeing a deal for Romero, Tottenham are set to turn their attentions to another creative player.
It is added that Sampdoria’s Mikkel Damsgaard and PSV’s Noni Madueke are among Spurs’ targets.
