‘The Security Situation In Nigeria Is Improving’ – Boss Mustapha

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha has shared his thoughts about the improvement that has come in terms of the security situation in Nigeria.

According to him, everything happening in Nigeria shows how the security situation has improved and he made this known at a recent event that took place in Kaduna on March 10.

In his view, the insurgency in the north-east and threats of separatists in the southeast have, so far, declined in rate adding that over 30,000 insurgents together with their families have surrendered.

In his submission, he said;

“The security situation has relatively improved across all parts of the country. The threats of the separatists in the south-east and parts of south-south geo-political zones have reduced in traction. Our waters are now calm and we no longer receive reports of daily attacks by pirates.

Troops of operation Sharan Daji, in conjunction with personnel of the Nigeria Police Force and other intelligence and security and paramilitary agencies, have sustained an onslaught against the criminal elements.”
