The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 will adopt an external screen in the form of a folder
We’ve seen plenty of Galaxy Z Flip5 rumors so far, but now we’ve got our first look at the new flip-folding cover screen. Rated tipster ice universe shared a new image of the Galaxy Z Flip5 showing off its design and our first look at its folder-like cover display.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 render
Past rumors suggest that the Z Flip5’s cover screen will measure around 3.3-3.4 inches, which is a noticeable step up from the Z Flip4’s 1.9-inch panel. Notice the odd folder-shaped cutout at the bottom that surrounds the two cameras. The tipster says these images are indicative of the final design and that Samsung is currently working on adapting its software to take advantage of the larger screen real estate.
Based on the most recent report, Samsung is set to announce its Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 in late July alongside the Galaxy Tab S9 series.
