The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will launch worldwide on January 5
It’s official – the global launch of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is scheduled for January 5th. This is the first Redmi with a 200MP camera and only the second in the Xiaomi family after the 12T Pro.
The Redmi Note 12 series will be launched worldwide on January 5
Last week, Xiaomi announced that the Redmi Note 12 series would soon be launched in India, but did not give an exact date. It’s also unclear which models are coming – the Pro+ is definitely on the list, the Redmi Note 12 and Redmi Note 12 Pro have yet to respond. There’s also the Redmi Note 12 Discovery, the version of the Pro+ with 210W charging, but that may remain exclusive to China.
Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series has proven to be very successful. It just passed the 300 million units shipped mark, of which 72 million went to India. Either way, new models will definitely add to the tally, but we’ll have to wait a few weeks for details like pricing and shipping dates. A staggered release is possible, which is what happened with the Note 11 series earlier this year.
Global pricing for the Redmi Note 11 series (at launch, excluding pre-registration offers)
The Redmi Note 11 series went global on January 26 with the base model starting at $180 and the Note 11S starting at $250. The Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro 5G followed in mid-February at $300 and $330, respectively.
