The rare record Chelsea matched during win over Juventus
Chelsea would match a rare record during their 4-0 win over Juventus on Tuesday.
Chelsea 4-Juventus 0
Chelsea took on Juventus at Stamford Bridge in a Champions League clash a short time ago.
Thomas Tuchel’s men headed into the game in west London aware that they needed to win by a decent scoreline to have any chance of finishing top of their Champions League group.
And this is exactly what Chelsea did on the night, coming away with a very impressive 3-0 victory.
Trevoh Chalobah opened the scoring on the night:
That is a brilliant finish from Trevoh Chalobah! 💥

Timo Werner then made it 4-0 in second-half injury-time.
Chelsea match rare record
After Chelsea scored their 3rd goal of the night, it was revealed that the Londoners had matched a rare record.
Their three goalscorers on the evening – Chalobah, James and Loftus-Cheek – are all English.
This means that, as per Opta, Chelsea’s win on Tuesday was only the third occasion a team have had three different English goalscorers in a Champions League match:
This is only the third occasion of a team having three different English goalscorers in a Champions League match (Chalobah, James, Hudson-Odoi), after Man Utd v Brøndby in 1998 (Beckham, Cole, Neville, Scholes) and Man Utd v Roma in 2007 (Carrick, Smith, Rooney).
