The PlayStation 2022 recap is here. As another year draws to a close, apps like Spotify, Reddit and YouTube are giving users a recap of 2022. The year in review that matters to gamers is also here, as Sony released its 2022 recap for PlayStation on Tuesday, highlighting user play stats, outstanding achievements and favorite games on the platform for the year. The PlayStation Wrap-Up 2022 is available for PS5 and PS4 consoles, giving a clean look at the games you’ve played this year and how much time you’ve spent on them. The Wrap-Up also includes new avatars for players based on their game achievements.

PlayStation’s 2022 recap summarizes the five most played games by PS5 and PS4 users in 2022 and details worldwide statistics for games on the Sony platform. The overall stats include some interesting numbers – total miles traveled in Gran Turismo 7, total ax throws in God of War Ragnarök, or total hours spent in the Horizon Forbidden West photo mode.

The 2022 summary informs users of their total game time in 2022, categorizing both local and online play, and the total number of games they played in the year. It also provides an overview of users’ PlayStation Plus stats – the number of games downloaded through the Essential, Extra and Deluxe tiers of the subscription service, their best online play and hours spent playing online.

The PlayStation Wrap-Up 2022 also provides a list of user gaming achievements for the year, showing the number of trophies won in the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum categories. Based on user gaming habits and achievements in 2022, the PS Wrap-Up gives out voucher codes for one of six unique avatars that can be redeemed on the PlayStation Store, Sony said on the PS Blog.

Finally, the PlayStation Wrap-Up 2022 provides a shareable summary card – similar to Spotify Wrapped, from which it no doubt draws inspiration – that highlights users’ best gaming memories and accomplishments over the year. Users can access their PlayStation 2022 Wrap-Up – available until January 13, 2023 – by heading to wrapup.playstation.com and logging in with their PlayStation ID.
