The Game Awards 2022 India Time, how to watch, nominees and more

The Game Awards are back with their 2022 edition to celebrate the best in gaming, in an all-out extravaganza with the promise of new announcements. Gaming industry titan Geoff Keighley returns to host the live show, backed by his musical orchestra and an in-person audience, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. A total of 108 titles, individuals and teams will compete through 31 nominations to win their respective prizes, forever cementing their names in video game history. The winners were selected by a global judging panel made up of more than 100 media publications, including Gadgets 360.
Keighley also addressed concerns about fatigue, stemming from the duration of The Game Awards, by affirming that this year’s edition will be “significantly shorter” than past years. “Yeah, the show is going to be shorter this year. We don’t know the full time until we finish our rehearsals, but I think it’ll probably be about a two and a half hour show,” he said on a Twitch stream.
That said, Keighley notes that the runtime can stretch a bit depending on how long the winners’ speeches are. That’s good news, because last year’s show ran nearly four hours, including the pre-show, which keeps the same 30-minute runtime.
