the flash The film project would consider several release scenarios. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. discusses ways to release the film, following lead actor Ezra Miller’s recent debacles with the law. The studio is also looking at a worst-case scenario option, which could see the film scrapped entirely. The DC Comics superhero movie is set to hit theaters on June 23, 2023, though its fate now depends entirely on Miller’s internal cooperation and actions leading up to the release.

Warner Bros. Discovery is considering three key scenarios, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The first sees WB – under new CEO David Zaslav – publish the flash on said date, as the 29-year-old actor seeks professional help and explains his erratic actions in a fitting interview. Miller (Zack Snyder’s Justice League) will do limited press before the theatrical release next.

Option 2 is based on the scenario where the actor avoids asking for help. Warner Bros. would release the film as planned, but would not see Miller play a prominent role in terms of a promotional or marketing campaign. In fact, they would be recast in future projects, which is a huge blow for the company, since the 2023 film is supposed to kick off the million-dollar DC Comics movie franchise.

Scenario 3 is the most extreme, taking into account Miller’s ongoing run-ins with legal issues. This would see Warner Bros. scrap the whole movie, because it can’t be remade with a different actor. The report claims that Miller would play several characters or iterations of Barry Allen in the film, which puts his face in nearly every scene. This makes the $200 million (roughly Rs. 1,593 crore) film virtually impossible to save, even with reshoots.

Prior to this development, the flash was considered safe for release, according to Warner Bros.’ latest 10-year discovery plan. aimed at creating a confined DC storyline similar to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As part of the decision, the studio shelved the Leslie Grace-directed film bat girl movie, alongside Wonder Twins and Scoob! Holiday Haunt, because it didn’t fit their vision of maximizing financial returns. Reports indicate that bat girl was the subject of private test screenings, where the public called it “unsalvageable”.

Miller was called in regularly for additional photographs for the flash during the summer. This development came after the actor was repeatedly charged and arrested for disorderly conduct in public. According to Rolling Stone, the actor was charged with burglary earlier this week and got into trouble with the Vermont Department of Children’s Services, following the disappearance of a mother and three children who allegedly fled at Miller’s farm.

If things go well, the flash will be released in cinemas worldwide on June 23, 2023.
