The elder brother of Yul Edochie, Uche Edochie has opened up about his brother taking a second wife, stating categorically that the family is not in support of that.

Yul Edochie as a Christian has been criticized a lot for taking a second wife when he already has 4 kids with his wife Mary and his brother Uche Edochie reacting to that stated clearly that the family is not in support of his decision but they can’t judge him as well.

According to him, they tried talking him out of taking a second wife but since you can’t advise an adult about love/relationship, he went ahead to do what he thinks is right as a way of taking responsibility for his actions of cheating on his wife.

Uche Edochie then added that his first wife Mary didn’t get married to him with polygamy in mind hence this is a blow to her and all they can do as a family is try to support and console her as she takes all this in little by little.

I see two main problems here. His first wife Mary, a wonderful woman and my sister in law did not go into a relationship with my brother agreeing to be part of a polygamous marriage. That’s the first problem. So I feel for Mary. It is not fair on her. My family are not in support. This is not what we do and we are trying our best to console Mary. What else can we do?
