Tecno Pop 7 Pro launched quietly

Tecno has introduced a new phone in its African markets called Pop 7 Pro. Retailers in Nigeria and Uganda already have the phone on sale, although the company apparently forgot to officially announce it or even add it to its own website.

The Pop 7 Pro is a super affordable phone with a Helio A22 chipset. It’s actually already available as Spark Go 2023 in other markets.

The Pop 7 Pro sports a 6.6-inch LCD display with 720p resolution and a high ratio of 20:9. It boots Android 12 with HiOS 12 on top, while the large island on the back houses a 13MP main camera and QVGA depth sensor. The selfie shooter has a 5MP sensor.

This phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery and 10W charging via USB-C port. Tecno offers the Pop 7 Pro with 64GB of storage and 3GB or 4GB of RAM. Prices in Nigeria start from 64,000 NRN or around $140.
