
Super Eagles Goalie Signs New Three- Year Deal With Swiss Club

Super Eagles goalkeeper Sebastian Osigwe has extended his contract with Swiss club, FC Lugano.
Osigwe, according to the club penned a new three-year deal.
The 28-year-old arrived Lugano from another Swiss club, SC Kriens in 2020 .
“We are happy to have renewed Sebastian Osigwe’s contract. He is not only a precious element for the dressing room, but also a quality goalkeeper who has repeatedly shown that he is worthy of the Super League,” sporting director Carlos Da Silva told the club’s official website.
“In training he always gives his best. His professionalism is an example for his younger teammates, as well as a point of reference for his colleagues.
“Finding a profile like this, in football and in the specific role of the goalkeeper, is by no means a given.”
The experienced goalie was invited to the Super Eagles under former boss, Gernot Rohr in 2020.
