The latest Starlink internet plan is now in the testing phase and it promises an internet connection “almost anywhere on earth in the world”. The Global Roaming service will cost $200 per month in addition to the $599 Starlink Kit satellite dish. The Space-X-owned company’s new offering uses Starlink inter-satellite links to deliver the Internet to users wherever Starlink coverage is available.

Starlink Global Roaming Service Message

Due to its experimental nature, Starlink mentions that the new Global Roaming service will offer high-speed, low-latency internet service mixed with periods of “poor or no connectivity at all”. As noted in the memo, global roaming services are “subject to regulatory approvals,” which is a big question mark for the services as Starlink is still awaiting regulatory approval in various countries.
